DALLAS – Lakewood Brewing Company is bringing fall back to beer shelves across Texas with Pumpkin Spice Latte Temptress and Punkel. Additionally, its popular Pony Pils, an American Golden Lager made for Mustang Nation is widely available at Mustang home games.
Pumpkin Latte Spice Temptress is a far-from-basic batch just in time for Ugg boots and infinity scarf season. The delightful addition to the seasonal Temptress family was introduced last year and brings together the cozy warmth of pumpkin spice and the bold flavor of coffee, courtesy of Noble Coyote Coffee. It is enhanced with subtle notes of cinnamon, allspice, nutmeg, and ginger.
First released in 2013, Punkel is one of the first local pumpkin-inspired beers containing no pumpkin – just pumpkin pie spices. It is LBC’s longest and most popular seasonal. Each fall, it is available at Lakewood’s Punktoberfest on September 14. This year will include limited releases of barrel-aged Punkel called Drunkel and Punktress – the blend of Temptress and Punkel.
