After partnering for a full year, The Prophetic Podcast and Celestial Beerworks are making it official with a joint event held at The Satellite by Celestial Beerworks. This interactive event will combine Celestial’s “Complicated Discourse” (an event where participants debate important hot-button issues monthly) with a live version of a podcast by The Prophetic Pod. We will be discussing Unity: Creating Community Across Industries and Cultures.

This is a topic inspired by the relationship formed between Celestial & The Prophetic Pod over the last year. Our diverse backgrounds and life experiences, combined with our shared commitment, brought this partnership to life. It is vitally important to set aside preconceived notions and stereotypes to understand another’s perspective and therefore form lasting bonds.

Throughout the evening, there will be a panel discussion, breakout session, and a fireside chat in which we will encourage guests to delve into the disparities and differences that can hinder unity. What does it take to build an inclusive and thriving community? Prepare to challenge your mindset, see something new, have important conversations, and party the whole way through. What are the pros and cons of community at its core?

The Prophetic Discourse will be brought to life with DJ Binosaur’s all-vinyl spinning, a specialty fruited hazy double IPA flowing on tap, delicious dishes from Haleigh’s Eats and vendors Soulfull Spaces (@soulfull_spaces), Hello Studios (@iamhellostudios) and Sweet Kate Bakes (@sweetkatebakes).
