North Texas breweries took home 22 awards in the 2025 Texas Craft Brewers Cup competition. The winners were announced during the closing ceremony at the Texas Craft Brewers Guild’s Annual Meeting in Austin on February 8, 2025.

There were 931 beer entries judged for the 30 categories of the Texas Craft Brewer Cup. Out of the 90 medal-winning beers, 21 are from North Texas breweries. Additionally, False Idol Brewing won the Brewery of the Year award in the over 620 barrels group.

“Every year, the Texas Craft Brewers Cup showcases the remarkable innovation and dedication to craftsmanship that Texas brewers pour into every batch,” said Caroline Wallace, Executive Director of the Texas Craft Brewers Guild. “This competition not only spotlights the exceptional quality and diversity of Texas craft beer but also strengthens the bonds within our brewing community, encouraging a shared commitment to excellence and innovation.”
