Here are the brewery anniversaries and festivals happening in and around Dallas/Ft. Worth in May. Click the links to get details on each event.

TUPPS Brewery in McKinney, TX, and Four Bullets Brewery in Richardson, TX, are both celebrating eight years of business on Saturday, May 6.

903 Brewers celebrates 10 year of brewing in Sherman, TX on Saturday, May 13.

False Idol Brewing is throwing a Lord of the Rings-styled celebration for their 3rd anniversary on Saturday, May 20.

On The Festival Front

Beer and art take center stage with Venus Fest, Saturday May 13 from 4 – 8 p.m. This brainchild of Celestial Beerworks is a part of their charity art show, the Zephyr Auction. All proceeds from the auction and the fest will be going to an inspiring art therapy organization that aids young cancer patients and their families. General admission tickets are on sale through May 12, or until sold out.

In Grapevine, the 39th Annual Main Street Festival is May 19-21. This year’s event has a bigger craft beer presence with Hop & Sting serving beers in the main square all weekend.

Feel like getting into a little yacht rock? Join Rollertown Beerworks for the their 2nd Annual Yacht Rock Weekend. It promises to be two days full of boat/yacht/lake-themed shenanigans.

Lastly, Martin House Brewing Company was to take you higher with their Creed Fest on May 20. Cover band, Kreed brings the tunes and a special beer release will be announced closer to the festival.
