We’re enjoying beer community over some bacon and beer for Episode 88. North Texas homebrewer Bryan Hunter shares the origin of his now fifth local beer and meat feast. Also, Jerry interviews Woodie Bonds, head brewer and co-owner of Vine Street Brewing of Kansas City, Missouri. When Vine Street opens in the 18th and Vine district, it will be the first Black-owned brewery in Kansas City. Along with brewing and scale-ups in the area, Woodie was the creator of the Hip Hops Hooray Festival and shares some advice for others who are planning events.
Huge shout out to Modern Brews + Beats day one supporter, Tom Holmes, for making these interviews possible.
